Hey everyone, I have a 2001 es300. I recently replaced my both of my cv shafts last weekend and since then I’ve been getting what I can best describe as lateral wobbles at low speeds. Between 10-25 mph these wobbles are the most pronounced. The wobbles are dependent on acceleration and do not happen unless I am accelerating. I do not feel the wobbles in the steering wheel, It feels like the whole chassis is shaking from side to side. All my tires have been checked, rotated, and balanced. I had an alignment right after I changed the shafts. It’s on coil overs but I’m not sure if that’s too relevant but who knows. Next thing I tried was replacing the torque mount which is in the top left of the bay, I think some people call it the dog bone mount. That didn’t help at all. Can anyone offer some insight?

Many possible causes, but of course the first thing to do is to check the work done.
The axle nut on these requires high torque. I would wonder if that was done correctly. Also I would suspect if the ball joints weren’t reinstalled correctly, or if they were damged when removed if they were not replaced. There are a lot of places in this repair for errors, both in disassembly and reassembly.
