car won't start, anti theft system not allowing it to start
I have a 2003 Lexus GX 470, there is a red light flashing in the dash, with a symbol of a car and with a key inside the car symbol, battery is good, i can lock and unlock the car with the remote, but no start ??

One more easy thing you should try before proceeding into more serious diagnosis.
disconnect the car battery for 10 min or so, and than reconnect. You may get lucky.
