Thumbs up finally put the trd kit on the car - PICS ARE UP!!

ive been waitin to put the trd kit i got on my 97 es300 for a while....so i got some friends over and we put it on - car looks mean as hell and has a lower stance, next week im gonna put on 2001 oem grill, kyb gr-2 struts, tein springs, and whiteline swaybars - should be BADASS!! but anyway...bout the kit, we had to modify the kit a lil bit - side skirts didnt quite make the length so we had to mod that and we had to use spacers in some places and cut off some of the tabs on the kit....all in all it was about 3 hours of work between drilling, using a dremel to cut parts off, and a sander to sand down places we cut, but its definitely worth 3 hours - anyway...i know im rambling on, so ill cut it now and say ill have pics for yall by next week (if all goes well)

also just put a new apexi exhaust and a 2001 oem grille - the grille is a lot nicer than the oem 97, i bought it used and it has a few dings in the black paint - the dings are chrome, so im hoping that i can use acetone and chrome the whole thing out - but i might keeo it the same for a while until i get tired of it

ill have pics up tommorrow , but i searched the forum and saw that mcv20's and georgehsieh's kits fit perfectly on the side......mine came up short??? i dont know why...maybe i put it on the wrong side? but why would it come up short....but ya theres even more of a gap and more of that bottom black trim is showing...didnt think that much would show - maybe like yours - maybe yall could tell me if yours came up short or whatever you did to make the side skirts fit...thanks

yes.. the side skit in the TRD kit is too short for ES.. u have to extented it(mine) or cut the edge to make it fit.(georgehsieh).... but i think his way is much more easier then mine...

what do u mean by the black plastic stuck out more..?? it suppose to be stick out... like this..

how did you extend it? i cut mine in a few places to make it fit and it doesnt look as flush with the panels as yours or his does...maybe cut more? and even with the cuts...still came up short
