Default 2003 ES300 mileage

Bought my car 3 years ago when it had 277k miles on it for $3900. Was hoping to get another 50k if not more. Well, mission accomplished and then some. The way it runs I anticipate many more smooth running miles.

Hey Harrisbaig! No specific tips on maintenance except to suggest you keep reading as much as you can on this forum. I've gleaned a lot of information from contributors such as Oro, MrBooby, ArmyofOne and many, many others. The first sticky (DIY) at the top of the forum is a tremendous resource and don't forget the "Search this forum" feature. I am a firm believer in synthetic oil and oil changes at reasonable intervals. There's probably no problem with your vehicle that has not been addressed on this forum. The only other thing I'd suggest is: know your limits and when in doubt seek out a pro familiar with your car. Good luck with your car.

FANNNNtastic!!! I own a 2002 ES300 that just turned 100K ... I bought this at 37,000 miles from Lexus and it absolutely LOVE IT and am very excited to hear I can look forward to enjoying it for a long time!! I change my oil every 5,000 miles...I just put in my 2nd starter (1st one was at 54,000 miles) ... I changed the timing belt ... flushed the trans ... and that is it!! Oh yeah...and I get it detailed every 6 months most of the time it's garage kept.
