P1133 Code AFTER Changing A/F Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 1
Hi. This is my first time posting here. I hope I'm in the right place. I had a P1135 code on my 1999 ES300. We replaced the A/F Sensor Bank1 Sensor1. Now I am getting a P1133 Code After about 30 miles. I believe that is pointing to the same sensor we just changed, Bank 1 Sensor1. We hooked up the scanner to check voltages. Bank2 Sensor1 is pushing between 3.2v and 3.3v at idle and revving. Bank1 Sensor1, the one just changed, is fluctuating constantly between 0.9v and 4.2v. Does that mean the A/F Sensor that was just changed is defective, or can something else be causing the erratic voltage fluctuation of that sensor. I hope someone can help me with this problem. I haven't been able to get the car inspected because of this. Thanks in advance for your help.

Check for wire damage another thing you could do is try swapping sensors front to back.

I'll check the wires and try the swap tomorrow. Is bank1 sensor1 and bank 2 sensor1 the same? I noticed they have different part numbers, or is it just a difference in the wire length? Thanks again.

What do your short & long term fuel trims look like?

Hi Tomf. Yes, we changed the one by the firewall. A bit tough to get to, but yes. Thanks.
Hi Fortitude. I'm new to this. I'm not sure which terminals are which. Hopefully my friend does. I'll find out when I see him later. Possibly a photo of the terminals? Thank you.
