Heated seat switch
Hey guys I am fairly new to the whole forum idea so hopefully im doing this right.
I own a 2001 es 300 coach addition.
The seat heater switches no longer work is there a switch replacement that isnt 100 dollars or has anyone torn these down and understand how they work? ( I dont need re assembly directions or the electrical definition of switch.)

I tried to dismantle one of these switches didn't have good luck I couldn't get it back together and have it click into the high/low positions properly. The design is suspect in how it latches. Maybe you'll have better luck.

is this the appropriate place for a tutorial as it appears there are no videos in circulation of this process. (which is a little odd due to the high cost of these switches)

Without removing them, Try spraying some contact cleaner in there and then, with the ignition off, cycle them On And Off at least 10 times.
If still not working, repeat several more times.
i didn’t even use any contact cleaner, just cycled them on and off.
Worked for me.

Update: It appears that there is a considerable amount of witchcraft that is used to make these switches work I had some success in repairing one of the switches.
