Warning light appears warning braking early in the morning or late in the evening!
Hi 300 ES Owners,
My 98 car has the above issue, the warning light appears on the dash when I brake early in the morning when the skies are overcast or in the evening when darkness starts to appear. During the day there are no issues. I've checked all my lights and they are working, can any of the Lexus members give thoughtful reasons for this to happen?

Have you checked the pad thickness? Does the ‘98 have a wired pad wear indicator (versus just the audlble ones)? I don’t know the answer to that last question.
Wear indicators can be sensitive to temperature as wear gets right at the trigger limit.
