2006 ES330. 110k miles. All scheduled maintenance done on time at a Lexus dealership.
2 days ago my battery light came on in the dash. The next trip I took was to AutoZone to test it and the light was back off. Had Autozone test the system, they said bad battery, bought an identical replacement.
Now when using the auto open auto close on the sunroof it hesitates and stops when I let off the button. It works fine when holding the button, still with a slight hesitation sometimes. Like the windows, when you press hard it switches to auto down or auto up. That no longer happens for the sunroof.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

My 06 sunroof was like this when I bought the car. I fixed it by holding the button down to let it go all the way up then doing the same to let it open all the way. No idea what I did but it’s back to normal now.
