Default Just had my valve cover gaskets replaced

2005 ES330 with 216k on the clock. Watched the Youtube video and quickly decided it was more than I could handle. Local independent charged me $450. Thought that wasn't too bad. No doubt the Lexus stealer would have charged much more.

Cant remember what the dealer quoted my buddy's 04 Camry but it might be around $700.
I told him give me a case and we'll call it quits. lol

I'm completely satisfied. Been smelling burnt oil for so long I don't know how to act now that it's gone. Mechanic even steam cleaned all the oil off. Oil buildup on the O2 sensor connections were also causing intermittent codes popping up. Seems like that problem is gone also. Hope she makes it to 300k and beyond. It's a fun car to drive and it has by far the best AC I've ever seen. It will freeze you to death on the hottest summer days.
