Bought 2000 Lexus es300 without fob and only valet key. Occasionally, after getting out of car and locking doors ill wake up to driver and passenger side doors unlocked with windows and moonroof open. Occasionally it would do it as soon as I walk away from the car most times I wake up in the morning to find this problem I need help please. I'm thinking about disconnecting the ECU it's possible.

The car has a feature where if you turn and hold the key the doors will unlock and the sunroof will open so perhaps the lock is sticking or the switch has a problem.

Thanks for replying. It did it again last night. I was thinking the lock was sticking also until i just learned how to open the driver side door with the valet key without triggering the alarm. What switch are you referring to? I want to rip the whole theft deterrent out. Its so frustrating.

The switch is integrated into the actuator if it was my car I'd temporarily unplug it to see what happens the unit looks like this.

The security system is well integrated into the car I don't know a way of disabling it.

I think you are right. Today it got worst. Doing it while i had a friend watching. See im not crazy lol.....Today it kept unlocking as soon as i locked it. Ran alot of errands today; came out of walmart, home depot, etc to windows open and doors unlocked. Ill look into this again and follow up soon. Thank you!!!
