Eternal 97 Tail Light Question
Ok, So I decided to just got and buy a set of 01 tail lights; I figure I can just start with the corners then work my way to the trunk lid assembly. I called a local lexus dealer in Long Island, NY ( lex us of massapequa ) and they quoted me $182 for the corners each. Just for the F__K of it, I called a lexus dealer in Minnesota ( dont ask - just randomly | bored at work ) they want $152 each. ""Hey 30 bucks is 30 bucks "" ..... Hmmmmm, do **** get cheaper in the boonies?? any one have any luck? let me know.. Thanks, But for now this is what I have.

Its actually, See through...I just used limo tint( Its temporary) , yea I know it ghetto, but wanted to know how it would look before I painted or anything, but Im still looking for the clear ones.......

Book rate on the tail Lights is $152 for qtr mount and $130 for lid What I can't fathom is why the quarter mount is more expensive and 1/2 the size I guess it gets damaged more and Lexus capatializes of this

I Just got two 01 tails off of ebay for 139 shipped to my door today. Need outer taillights and they are very tough to find used. Especially the right one. I can get a left one 125 used at the cheapest so far.

Good luck finding them used. I for sure have more connections then you and I can only locate scratched up or cracked qtr mounts for $100 (ya no thanks)
I'm gonna have to order all 4 lamps from the dealer But right now I think I might need a new motor
the piston rings are gone I think IM so mad only 77K on my 97 grrrrr

You are conveying a sarcastic, wise guy attitude while asking for a favor? That will get you no where asking for a favor from me, "buddy"I suggest you call your local Lexus dealer for price quotes. They are (within a few $)
$152 quarter mount and $130 tail lid. Thats $284/side x 2 = $565 minus 25% discount =$423
(thats a Parts manager discount, I can definately obtain this discount)
If I can still get a parts discount from the Regional Toyota Rep I know then:
plus an additional 10% off =$380.70 + 5% MA sales tax $19.04= $399.74 Umm.. That's $400 where do you get $300 buddy? (You said $300 in PM)
