2. It's a gamble to hope there is no left-over adhesive residue once debadged.
Not only that, but don't forget the paint has faded over the years, so you will most likley be able to see where the badges were. Most people probably wont notice, but you'll know its there. Just my opinion, but that would bother me!
that one looks like a 96...arent there holes left in the deck lid once lexus and es300 are removed? thats the only thing that is keeping me from doing it.
Hmm, i thought there were holes in the 'Lexus'..
Instead of removing them completely, i think I'm going to get a set of the newer emblems that are separated.
1. Toysrme's comment regarding it's interpretation as a Toyota with a Lexus emblem. Which, unfortunately is very true and something 92-96 owners often deal with.
hanks again everybody!!!
I live on long island....THeres alot of lexuses here....i have a 94 es 300....my car never gets mistakin for anything but a lexus...actually most people think its at least a 98 or above.....and these people see lexuses everyday! People always ask wat year it is, and then i aske them wat do they think? one guy said 2004...but he said he knew nothin bout lexus..obviosly...i guess it helps to have shiny paint and HIDS tho
it might make it look like a toyota with a lexus tag. plus there are holes behind the emblems. id keep them. if u wanna change it up, go with some chrome or black pearl tags.
