Speaking on the subject of shaving just got my es back from paint today. She has been shaved he gave me the lexus and es300 emblem and said he could put them on if I wanted them on but we had talked about shaving and he took the initiative. Honestly in the poll here I voted to keep em on but now after seeing mine shaved I have to say shaved all the way!

Just my $.02 worth...

If YOU like it, go with it. It's all about options for us.

Having said that;

I am debating the change from the gold kit on a '94 versus black pearl or chrome. The touch of gold at this point doesn't "fit" my eyeview as pleasingly as it should. To me it depends on car color.

On shaved or not, I've debadged a couple of vehicles in the past few years and liked it.

Leaving only the "L" does look good to me.

In this poll, on that car, I vote shaved with the "L".

I have done this mod to my 92 windom (es300)this week and there are locator holes under the badges which I have had to fill,sanded back and primed even though it is not yet painted (this weekends project) it tidies the lines of the whole car.
along with shaved door locks and possiable removal of door handles and the removal of all other badges other than the toyota badge on the rear.
this should get me the smooth look I'm going for.

I WANT TO MAKE THE WHOLE WORLD SILKY SMOOTH

I would do it if it didn't leave the holes behind.

Has anyone ever shaved the es300 off the tail light?
