02 ES-need to bypass factory amplifier
Hey ya'll, I am trying to run an aftermarket amplifier to power the door speakers. I have a Boss Audio sat nav head unit already installed. I am using the axxess amp interface harness but its distorting the highs and then the factory amp cuts out. I have a 250x4 Rockford Fosgate amp on the way. I have a 1000w Pioneer amp powering a single 10", and if I can just get my pioneer 6.5" speakers in the doors to run on their own amp, I will be happy.

You'll need to tap into the speaker wires at the amplifier (behind glove box) I did a bit of searching didn't find a specific connector which would be nice instead of cutting wires. Will post if I find.
...oh I should have asked what stereo you have the Mark Levinson amp is in the trunk.

Connector that i used to Bypass the factory AMP on 2005 Lexus ES with Pioneer AMP premium sound system and then just wire it into aftermarket AMP/HU. If you need help with color codes or anything let me know.
