2002 ES300: A/C working intermittently
Hello guys, I own a 2002 ES300 with 115K miles. I am having some random issues with my A/C.
I'm in Dallas, TX and the temperatures are around 80 Degrees right now, will be rising to 100 soon.
-When I start my car for the first time and turn ON the A/C, it blows cold and works perfect. The heat works good too (I tested it with all the temperatures and fan speeds).
-Once I turn OFF the engine and turn it ON again, the A/C BLOWER MOTOR does not work at all. I can hear the compressor coming ON at this time. I have checked the compressor and it turns ON. Also, the refrigerant levels are normal. The A/C light is ON. Once the A/C blower stops working, it doesn't work on all the settings (Cold/Hot, high speed etc)
-So at this point I just keep driving and once I drive for 2-5 minutes on the highway, the A/C blower comes back on and now the A/C works perfectly fine.
-I went to my mechanic twice but it always works fine when I'm there (Ofcourse)
So far on the forum I have found out the threads about - magnetic clutch relay/ blower control module/ THE CONNECTION FROM THE AUXILIARY FAN TO THE CONTROL MODULE.
But none of these were for the 2002 ES300 so I just want to see if anyone faced the same issue. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Does the blower have this problem on its own? In other words what happens if you turn on the fan but not the A/C.

So I get different results based on outside temperature-
Last week it was 85 degrees- So when I turn the AC ON for the first time, everything works perfect. After switching off the engine one time then switching back on, the blower doesn’t come on (The A/C light is ON and I can hear the compressor kicking in). After driving for 5 minutes everything back to normal.
Today it’s 65 degrees- I just got back from testing the A/C for 2 hours and it runs perfect. Switched the engine OFF several times and each time after switching the AC on the Blower came on. Also, tried just turning ON the blower without the AC and it worked too.
Its so strange. The outside temperature is definitely doing something to my A/C because all the problems occur when its 75+ degrees outside.
