I just bought a 2000 Platinum, found a black mystery **** while cleaning. It's at the bottom of the dash. Looks factory. See the pic. I don't see it described in the manual. Anyone know what this does? Thanks.

 

It’s to adjust the volume of the chirp sound when you turn your alarm On or Off

Ah... I had my car for so long but never encountered this ****. I recently noticed that the beep when we lock/unlock became very low, may be it is this one. I will check, thanks
