Hello...does anyone have the procedure to take out and install the rear window power shade? I tried from the truck, however the trunk compartment looks to be all stamped metal tack welded together. Do you have to remove the rear seat and C pillar covers just to remove the back panel with 3rd brake light just to get to the shade mechanism? I'm hoping someone has pages from a manual they can share? Thanks in advance!

Pop the rear seat bottom, then the upper seat back which should fall forward when you take the bolts out, then the parcel tray should pop up and out and then you'll be able to get at it.

Successfully completed the swap out. Thanks to Romanova for the opening steps ![Thumb Up](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
One thing to clarify is you do have to remove the “C” pillar covers to keep from contorting the rear parcel cover. I spent about 2 hours taking it apart and putting it all back together.

I've never done the ES but I figured the steps would be identical to the LS. Glad to hear you got it!
