Rear passenger power window - '04 ES
Hello everyone - the rear window on my Lexus ES330 will go down in and out of auto from the drivers master switch, however it will not go back up. I can bring it down in and out of auto from the rear passenger door as well as up. I can do soldering work and wonder if it's something that can be done this way or should I look for a different master switch or even something else amiss in the car? Thank you in advance.

For anyone wondering...I did take the switch apart and found corrosion on the circuit board right at the location of the up diodes. I tried heating up the solder to see if it’ll flow and make somewhat of a connection. No go!
I’ll buy a new or used one on line as they are pretty cheap. I’ll probably check back in and report if that solves the issue.

Well I received my new driver's master switch for my '04 ES330 and plugged it in and now the rear passenger window operates as intended. Issue is now I have a blinking light on the driver's window button and the auto up and down doesn't work. I tried the resetting technique's provided in the forum as well as other sites and none have worked. I don't want to overheat the window motors, but I feel I've tried every variation listed. I must be missing something or this switch is defective.
I reinstalled my old switch and auto function works no problem without having to relearn or reset anything.
Hoping someone may have some insight into this.

Here's some more information...I did the sunroof as well for the one touch as I read elsewhere that this needs to be auto-programmed with the windows. Still made no difference.
Another wrinkle is on occasion I can hear a click in the front passenger door and then the passenger window stops working from that immediate door switch. It will still work from the driver's master switch. If I start the up or down motion from the driver's switch, it will continue from the immediate door switch. Almost like it has to be helped or started.
Even still another development is the auto functions of A - D will not work with either the new or old master switch. I can get the car to lock when going into drive (function A), however I can't get it to lock when reaching 12mph (function B). It will only stay under the auto function A of locking all the doors when placing the shifter out of park.

Update - I spoke to the seller of the new switch and we found that it's all pointing to it not being compatible with the ES, but more specifically for an RX model. I'm going to exchange it and see what happens.

My window doesn’t go up or down, just flashing switch light when to be pressed and relay clicks. Don’t know what the problem yet I haven’t looked yet but I think it’s the motor
