Default ES 300 2000 Headlight Leveling System

How many sensors (height sensors) are in a Lexus ES 300 2002? Is there front and rear or only rear ? And where is the front one ?

Not sure about ES300 but my 05ES330 has one headlight leveling sensor in back passenger side control arm. None in the front.

Thank you very much, because for 2 days I was looking for the front sensor like a stupid , but the question is how to set the rear sensor if there is no place to regulate. Because from the moment I repaired it, my headlights aim into space and "AUTOMATIC HEADLIGHT LEVELING SYSTEM WARNING LIGHT" is on

Depends on what you mean by repaired. If you replaced the parts inside they might be bad, or replaced the whole thing it could be bad. There is no regulation sort of. You have to make sure that before you put that little elbow control arm, the little pin/bolt to which it connects is in middle position. Meaning you turn it all the way left and then all the way right and then turn half way in between. Then you make sure the little arm is in correct angle, because not putting that on right will mess with the leveling. Most likely cause is you didn't align this right.

Thanks to you I have solved the problem with my headlights . But I had to use some washers to get the sensor in the right position in relation to the control arm after I put manualy the sensor exactly in point zero (middle position) .Thanks again very very much

Hi,
Glad you were able to solve your problem, but it should not need so many washers. None at all honestly. I'll post a photo of mine for reference.
