I recently noticed that the security light in my Lexus es330 2004 stays on after locking the door with the key. I am very sure that the light is supposed to blink or flash, not stay on SOLID. Has anyone had this issue before? Or could there be a solution. My worry is that its draining my battery whenever i lock the car. Btw i own a blank spare key,if thats helps.

I have a 2002 ES300 and it does the same thing, the security light below the radio stays SOLID after locking the car. Until now I thought this is how it works!!! So I'm confused now about it's working after seeing this post. If anyone has any idea about this, please help us. Thanks.

I thought it is blinking if the car is off and unlocked, but solid when the car is locked

Nope, its definitely supposed to blink when the car is locked.
