02 es300 - steering wheel locked while driving
Is this a thing ? My daughter says the steering wheel locked on her while making a right turn out of a stop.
I drove the car after and hasn't happened so far.
Any info or advice is appreciated, thanks!

I never seen this condition so, I would check her key chain for being to heavy, maybe not enough gas in the tank and it was stalling and felt like it was locking up, power sterring fluid level, serpentine belt, front end components and so on....let us know what you find?

It’s possible the intermediate steering shaft is seizing up. Buy PB blaster and absolutely soak the steering joint coming out of the firewall.
From the inside side of the car, you’ll see where the shaft goes into splines, spray into there as well, but at a slower rate unless you want to completely soak the interior of your footwell
