i was replacing my alternator belt and completely unbolted the tensioner (2 12mm bolts) and now I can't figure out how to put the tensioner back on.
does the block lift the alternator up causing more tension on the belt? so the long 12 mm bolt when you turn clockwise it pulls the block out more moving the alternator up.. or how does it work I can't figure out how to put the tensioner back on.
I also can't find where the shorter 12mm bolt threads into... any help would be appreciated, i tried watching videos but still can't figure it out.
is the smaller horizontal bolt supposed to thread into something? after sticking the smaller bolt through the hole i don't see/feel anything to thread into.
where exactly should that block be so that when you turn the longer vertical bolt clockwise it'll make tension on the belt? thanks.
