Greetings all,
I just picked up a 05 ES with the NAV package. Now I'm looking to add Bluetooth, or at least an AUX cable.
It has a multidisk CD changer somewhere, any way to use that for input? Or maybe even a kit?
Thanks for reading,
David

FM Transmitter, I have this one, it's only Aux - they do also make FM Transmitter with Bluetooth , but I find the bluetooth ones have too much interference so I use Aux and it has way less interference, goes right into your DC port
have it in my 04 ES

Look for a 1-2 year old post from user "armyofone" on modding the nav units. Cheap replacement fascias are available ($30), you can put in a modern head unit and junk that crazy old nav stuff. You can use an FM transmitter and it can be low cost. Not to put down low cost fixes, but to give options in case an audio upgrade/fidelity is desirable. It is not that expensive.

Thanks all for the replies.
Looks like their are a few options I've researched that are promising.
I wanted to first try a cheap quick solution so I ordered a FM transmitter AUX only from Amazon ( ) Since I want it to only connect an Amazon Echo Dot that I use in my car, it can be installed once and out of sight. I'm waiting for it to come today, it's now out for delivery.
If thats not good, I've found a few more involved solutions.
This kit ( ) wouild seem to give a no-frills AUX and Bluetooth connection. Since I have the VAV system I would need to buy a $15 Y-cable.
And finally this kit (
" title="Amazon" target="_blank">Amazon
) that shows the install to my exact car.
