Default Adaptive variable struts on 05 ES 330

OEM replacement parts not worth keeping the car. If I go with a quality aftermarket strut, will I create other issues and light up the dash? If aftermarket non adjustable work, I keep the car, and if not it’s for sale as is. Any advise would be appreciated.

AFAIK you can put in regular struts without issue, they bolt straight up but not sure a 2005 will complain about no adaptive struts. I doubt it.
