hey guys - 03 es300 = bad ride?
hey guys
posting this for my dad
they went from a 98 ls400 to an 03 ES300 - mom just didn't like rear wheel drive in the new england snow - anyway they have been complaining about the stiffness of the ride ever since they bought the ES -
- questions do the new ES's ship with spring spacers (like my s2000) if so maybe the dealer forgot to remove them during prep (i'll look under the car this weekend)
- any way to "soften" up the ride we took a few lbs out of the tires and than made a small difference
Thanks for your help

the 02/03 ride of the ES is very soft. If it turns out to not be the spacers, then check these two possibilities.
If your car has the electronic suspesion, maybe the selector is set for sport ride (firm) and not the soft ride.
just a thought.
Also check their tire pressure. If it is at max or over pressure, then that can result in a stiff ride. tire pressure should be 29 psi. (I like it at 32 psi personally).
