Hi,
I have a 2006 ES330... which I love! It has 120k miles. I recently replaced a dead battery with a Lexus branded Interstate 'robust' battery. Coming out of work last night I noticed the brake lights were on. The battery was dead and had to be jumped. Perhaps this is what drained my previous battery?
Is there a known problem/solution with the brake lights staying on? Perhaps a switch on the brake pedal or a bad relay?
Thank you in advance for any insights and assistance!
Opps. title should be 'locked'

Initially it was the brake lights. However, yesterday it was the taillights. So now I am second guessing if it was brake lights.
Is there a known issue with the tail lights staying on, or at least intermittently staying on?
Thanks!

Not an “issue”, but if it’s running lights vs brake lights, your pedal brake switch is no the culprit.
If it’s running lights, you should check the wiring where it goes from the trunk to the main body of the car. Constant cable flexing there could result in a crack in the insulation and cause your problem.
