Oil Pan Dent- 3/4 inch
I managed to cave in my oil pan a little bit on my 99 Es300 when I was doing motor mounts. I was using a block on the jack but it shifted and I didn't notice so it kind of put a little concavity in the bottom of the pan. Flange is good, drain is good, but im a little hesitant to start it. I wouldn't think mechanical interference would be an issue but maybe the oil pickup could be affected? Surely someone has been down this road before??

Hello,
What about some photos? It is very hard to estimate something blindly.
In general, the only thing that you might have damaged is the oil strainer, and if the damage is severe enough, you may have decreased the volume of the oil pan, essentially creating the same situation as after and oil overfill. But that is applicable only if you dropped the whole car on the oil pan..

Hope this helps and best of luck!
