205/65r15 --> 205/60r15
Hey Everyone
This is my first post in the ES Forum and hopefully won't be my last!
I did a search but didn't return any hits specifically for my question.
We are thinking about a 1999 es300. The stock tires at the dealer were shot, they need to be replaced for sure. I have a brand new set of Michlen Harmony's sized 205/60R15 in my garage.
I know they will fit but with the difference in height effect/ruin/hurt/stress any part of the
car in the long run? (IE. Suspension)
Its nice to save $650can on the tires but it would suck if in the LR something major happened as a
result of the tire change.
Oh, and the es we are thinking about buying is:
1999 es300
White Body/Oak Interior/Tan Leather
Options Package B
80000km
$21000 Can
Good deal?

Won't hurt anything, but at 60mph the car will actually be going 58.1mph and remember with smaller tires you will put on slightly more mileage than you think, when you put a 1000 on the car it will be more than a 1000
edit: when your speedo reads 100kph, your actually travelling 96.8kph
