Oil in the air Intake Hose/ lexus es300 2002
Hi every body
REALY I WANT TO know what is the reason of existing oil in the air Intake Hose.
I cheked the engine oil level, IT was alittle low.
I ask your help Please help me to know.

Hello,
If you mean the hose displayed below, it is a part of crankcase ventilation, and it is there to pass emission standards, you can read more about it here.
The reason for this hose is to not let all the crankcase gases to escape in the atmosphere, so they go straight to the intake to get burned. That reduces the car's pollution and odor that comes from it.

If your car burns oil, it is entirely different problem. It may be bad piston rings, valve seals, etc. Are you sure that you don't have any leaks? What is the rate at which you run out of oil? If it is not more than 1L per ~1000km, it is not that big of a deal.
