sure, mechanically. Plus an extra gear in the trans and better brakes. But it FEELS different. I have a 2003 Camry right now that’s as perfect as a used Camry can be. It’s sublime. Drives better than a 2020 Camry (softer) but my es is superior. Like a 2020 Avalon and a 2020 es350

I prefer my ES over the 2006 Camry 4 cylinder I used to drive, the ride quality is night and day, the suspension is the definition of soft, and even though its not the fastest car in the world, it has some power to it, although I do want to get an IS300 in the future. I feel like the price gap doesn't matter for today's toyota/lexus vehicles because they are both really good, with the exception of more sound deadening on the lexus side.
