Default front door glass help

I have a 03 (02-06) es300 and replaced both front window regulators and now the windows go up (in auto mode) and come down half the way. I have been looking on how to time them but I can't seen to find how to do it. Any help would be appreciated

Hello,

Does it happen only when you raise the window in the Auto mode? If so, it may mean that the window mechanism is set incorrectly, therefore it tries to lift the window too high. To fix it, follow the adjustment procedure from this post.

Hope this helps and best of luck!

Thank you, but that is for a 99, they change i think from 2002-2006 completely different regulators setup.

Woops, didn't notice that you have a 4th gen..

Here is a reset procedure for a framed door. While it is for Lexus IS, it should be the same for your car.

Hope this helps and best of luck!a

The procedure Arsenii presents in post #4 is the same one listed in the 2002 ES300 Toyota Service Manual. I performed this on my '02 several years back and it worked for me.
