Not necessarily. The IS and ES yes. They are very different. But, aside from the RWD/FWD difference, the ES and GS(300) have similiar performance/suspension characteristics.

No the ES and IS are much different vehicles. Night and day. The IS is a suped up celica with a L on it.

I saw a woman who had to be in her sixties driving an IS, yesterday afternoon. Her passenger was obviously her mother...in her eighties! And, that's a fact.
