Default 2004 ES330 transmission

Has anyone heard anything about the 2004 ES330 transmission, does it have the same problem (hesitation, jerkyness, etc....) as the 2002/2003 transmission. Any comment appreciated.

The jury is still out on this! We're all still waiting for an honest owner of an '04 to give a report on his/her findings.

Thumbs up

Have put on about 800 miles since we purchased our '04 ES330. We just retured from a trip to the coast,we live in central CA, and it appeared ( the Tranny )to work perfectly. We traded a '98 ES in and so far we can not tell any difference . The '98 was a wonderful performer and near as we can tell so far is that the '04 will be no different. Not overly impressed with the Nav. system, being unable to program POI's while driving ,even as a passenger is a bit irratating. Over all a truly fun car to drive, handled great going through the mountains.
