2004 ES330 P0430 and P0712 codes
I just recently had been getting CEL error codes about system bank 1 & 2 too lean (P0171 & P0174) which made me think the O2 sensors were going out. After getting a tuneup with all 6 spark plugs replaced, air filter and a "split" air intake hose going to the throttle body got replaced, these codes disappeared.
Now, two new codes are showing up saying the Catalyst System efficiency below threshold bank 2 (P0430) and the ATF temp sensor (P0712).
I am not sure if the previous error codes are causing these two new ones and it has something to do with dirty O2 sensors, failing O2 sensors., a short in the ATF sensor circuit or transmission wire, the catalytic converter manifold, catalytic converter or the ECM going out.
Any ideas as to what might be happening?

Hello,
The ATF temperature sensor should be located under the drain pan. If I understand correctly, you can test it by measuring the resistance between pis 1 and 6 on the transmission connector. If that's good, check the wiring.
As for the other code - check if your A/F (Bank 2 Sensor 1) and O2 (Bank 2 Sensor 2) sensors are working as intended. You should also make sure that there no leaks in your exhaust system, especially near sensors. If all that is good, check your catalysts.
Hope this helps and best of luck!
