I’m dealing with an issue which I’m determined can be solved by resetting ECU in my car, newly Lexus owner and unfamiliar to location of the EFI and ECTS fuses of a year 2000 ES and if that’s effective to reset it or rather just disconnecting battery I’ve heard works for most cars, any guidance would be appreciated and if I’m not being clear enough lmk, thank you!

You can either disconnect the battery, or pull an EFI fuse in the fuse box under the hood. Here is a fuse diagram for your car.
