That Little Fuel Door is Fail Safe! (ES-300)
Just pop the trunk and pull the little handle dangling on a cable behind the fuel door, maybe hidden by a First Aid kit and BINGO!
It was clear that the little ol' lady who sold me my ES-300 was not aware of this. I don't know about other models.
