Engine Surging/Misfiring

Looks to me like yours is leaking and needs to be replaced regardless of it causing any issues. Bad/inconsistent fuel pressure will wreak havoc on fuel trims at least in theory.

I wanted to provide an update.
Ive been driving the car more often lately trying to hit 300k before I sell it.
Ever seen I replaced the thermostat the engine stopped surging on the highway. I also found a slightly pinched air filter gasket during thaw thermostat replacement so a new air filter was also installed.
The pinched air filter got installed in March 2020, so I wonder if that had something to do with the engine performance as a lot of engine issues started happening shortly after.
Old thermostat wasn’t able to get the engine to 180F on the highway. New one is working perfectly.
The pinched gasket.

Filter doesn't seem like it would do anything bad other than potentially let dirty air into the engine. Sounds like you solved your problem, still going to sell?

So I think I finally found the culprit of my engine issues.
The engine has been pretty stable since the thermostat/air filter replacement but then suddenly issues came back again.
I was getting severe misfiring, a flashing CEL, P0171 System Too Lean Bank 1, and misfiring codes for all cylinders on Bank 1.
I found exhaust leaks after the rear (3rd) catalytic converter and around the rear O2 sensor but from my research they shouldn’t affect fuel trim.
I also haven’t replaced the possibly leaking fuel rail damper. Don’t have the right tools and it’s very tight so may need a shop to do it.
Well today I was measuring and inspecting the exhaust before I order replacement parts and I found an electrical issue!
The main harness above the Bank 1 valve cover was missing some insulation possibly from a critter. And as I dug deeper I found chewed wires on the Bank 1 O2 sensor!

That will do it. Wish I could tell you how to get rid of those critters but they are very persistent.
