I’ve searched everywhere for one for my 2005 es330. They have them for the es250, es300
and es350s, but they only have the regular landscape type without climate controls for the es330s. Most of the ads say es330, but when you reward further it contact the company they say it won’t fit. Anybody have any idea why a full generation is skipped? Type of screen I’m looking for. I don’t want the ones that rotate or look like a iPad on a stick.
From my understanding, the way a head unit is fastened on those cars prevents you from having a radio and the climate control as one unit. In 3rd and 5th generation ES, the head unit is attached to the climate control, and they can only come out together, hence the setup on the photo is possible. In case of 4th-gen ES, however, bolts for the radio are hidden behind the climate control, making it impossible to remove climate control and radio as one unit. That's basically my theory on why there is no "Tesla-style" displays for that car..
