Hi folks, I have a issue that I tried looking online and couldn't get the answer. So, when I try to turn on my headlights, I notice how my center console illumination doesn't work. Weird thing I notice is when I have my headlights in OFF position, I see the light on my AC module but as soon I turn it on it turns off. Let me post some pictures here for better understanding. Yes, I have the aftermarket player but the issue never happed since I got it (2 years ago). TIA

I have the exact same problem on my 2006 ES330. Mine is intermittent because it briefly worked normal the other night while I was driving around. I purchased my ES330 in Oct. 2018 and removed my console, dash and factory NAV E7002 and the climate control a couple years ago when I installed my Bluetooth adapter into the Nav Unit. All my dash lighting as been fine until this summer. I removed my console, dash, climate control and factory NAV again to install a rear camera video adapter for the factory NAV unit. I believe the problem is related to the Lexus Auto lighting and dimming control on this car. When you turn the light switch off you basically force control of the dash lighting to on. I just recently got the electrical lighting schematics for the car to troubleshoot further.

It could also just be a bad connection on the electrical connectors not being fully seated or plugged in on any of the units in the center dash area. I have heard on this board where someone re-plugged in the connectors on their climate control and all the lights started working.
