I have the vehicle and radio mentioned above, and I’m having two issues I need to resolve to finish my current installation.
1. Steering wheel controls aren’t working, and I’m trying to use the Axxess/Metra AWIC-1 interface. I’ve reset and I’ve tried two different wires that looked green/orange, resetting the interface, and even manual programming instructions, but I can’t get it work.
2. No audio on Bluetooth calls. The other party can hear me, but I can’t hear them. I’m using a factory amplifier interface by Axxess/Metra, wired per its instructions to my head unit. All speakers are working, as is the factory subwoofer.
Also, does anyone know off hand which wires are for the reverse and parking brake in my make and model, and where I can tap into?

Are you connecting the the steering wheel control to the right wire? The instructions are kind of vague, but it's not going to connect to the same 20 pin connector as the head-unit. There should be another 20 pin connector that only has a few wires for the steering wheel controls. This stumped me for a bit when I did my install a couple of months ago.

My issue was I wasn't tapping the pins on R3 correctly. The LED flash pattern and colors are used for troubleshooting. What are those telling you? I would look at those codes, verify wiring, and possibly update the firmware for the device.

I did some research, and likely found the issue with no Bluetooth phone audio. I selected Network mode when configuring, and not Standard mode. So, I need to do the necessary taps (a trip back to Ace hardware) for the parking brake and the reverse sensor, too. I still need to sort out the steering wheel controls, but any major things like altering wiring will wait until tomorrow. I had an EGD earlier and I’m kind of foggy today.
