I’ve had a LED bulb in my dome light for about a year and half now. I’ve noticed in the past few months that it randomly turns off when it’s in the DOOR switch position and my drivers door is open. Sometimes when the car is on and sometimes when it’s off. But the light will turn off after 2-3 seconds and I have to close the door and open it again to keep it on. Any ideas what’s causing this?

Maybe the LED is dying? Or the door switch could be going bad this is common. Watch the light in the cluster when the LED is failing.

play with the door switch and see if it's sensitive. usually squirting some contact cleaner or an equivalent in there can fix these issues. I do it on cars routinely and it fixes lighting issues triggered off the door switch. That switch gets so much more wear and tear and salt/water exposure than other switches, even if it's inside the door seal/gasket.
However, LEDs can be fickle little things unless top flight and regulated. I tried to integrate some into a motorcycle's wiring system years ago and it was a pain (and expensive to get right/make reliable).
