It has been a great help. Thank you. And looking at the Standard Value of ECU Terminal on page AC-32 I know what values to look for. The problem I am having is finding where these connections are under the dash. I found the engine control unit (immediately to the right of the blower motor and others such as the ABS and the relay assy for the lights, but can't find any connectors that have the number of pinouts in blocks A13, A14, or A15. I'm going by that as I am unsure if the colour codes in the manual match my car.

Another item I thought of this week. I bought the car a year ago (Nov. 2019). I was told then that the A/C didn't work. I thought it was out of refrigerant, but I am now wondering if this problem is a cascade failure of the A/C not working. To clarify that the A/C is not working; if I set the temp to Max Cool or a low temp, everything functioned correctly except there was never any cold air blown out.

Thanks again!!

The pinout shown in the document linked above is for the A/C Unit itself. The climate control system in that car is almost fully independent, all the "dividing and conquering" happens inside of the unit, please refer to the image below. Here is a guide on how to get to the A/C Unit. No wonder you've had hard time finding that connector on the ECU, I probably should've been a bit more clear on that..

To diagnose the A/C, I would suggest you to rent an A/C Manifold Gauge Set (something like this). It used to be available for rent, but now that everyone is afraid of people who don't exactly understand what they're doing, it may be a bit tricky to rent. Just ask around major car parts store, see if any of them can lend one to you. For the A/C to activate, the pressure in the system should be at least 2.1 kgf/cm² (29.9 PSI), but not over 27 kgf/cm² (384 PSI).

If there is no way to get the manifold set, you can at least check if there is a signal from Pressure Sensor coming to the A/C Unit. That switch is located near the condenser on the front of the vehicle (marked 88645H on the diagram), you can check the continuity between pins 1 and 4, and you can also check voltage on pin PSW (A13-17) of the A/C Unit, it should be less than 1V. Running a compressor when the pressure is not sufficient can very quickly ruin it, so your car has a pressure switch, which breaks connection to Ground if the pressure is either too high or too low; by checking the continuity and voltage, you are confirming whether there is a signal that allows the compressor to start and therefore activate A/C system. While that method won't give you a whole picture, it will at least tell you where to look.

Hope this helps and best of luck!
