Hello,
I was looking to replace my rear suspension, specifically the strut/shock absorber. I was looking into KYB but a few people said it rode a lot rougher. Some people also said to get a quick strut and some say it's awful. I'm not sure what to get for the rear suspension because some say there's no need to replace the rear strut mount if not broke and others say otherwise. I went to a few mechanics and had different opinions on what to do. I'm just looking to try and get it similar but not OEM. All I've heard is Monroe and KYB are good but don't know which is better and not sure if I should replace the mount. <its perfectly fine.> I'm going to try to replace it myself because the shops are charging about a 4th of the value of the car just to do the rear suspension.

You should do all 4 struts not just the rears.
