Doors frozen shut

You can do periodic maintenance on the seals to prevent that. I use this:

I am sorry this happened to you, but weather happens and you have to plan for it.

+1 on the silicone
Do you have an ES with frameless windows? Those can be a real pain, because of nothing to grab onto. Try to pull the door open without putting all of the pressure on the handle. Maybe wedge a plastic ice scraper in the bottom of the door seam. I also like to keep a can of defrost in the house to spray around the doors.
Also, ice and snow loves to cling to dirt. If you keep your car cleaned and waxed there will be less surface for ice to bond with. It's much easier to brush off snow and ice, unless it's a really heavy blizzard.
hope this helps

Use some sort of silicone based lubricant/treatment on the window seals. I use nextzett "Gummi Pflege Stift", fairly cheap off amazon and it's well known in the German car community, specifically for the frameless BMWs. Made in Germany too so it's good stuff.
I've been using it on my 01 ES with frameless windows for a few years now, and I have no issues when it drops to cold temps up north here, and even with freezing rain it's still good.
