Default Steering Issue, wth is going on here!

Hi all,

1999 ES300 4 dr, plain jane
I have replaced the following:
Front shocks, front sway bar links, front rotors, pads, calipers and bearings
Mechanic has replaced a pair of plates (name unknown)

Ok...I'm stumped. Mechanic is stumped

We have no idea what's going on here so I thought I would reach out to the "throbbing brain".
After a period of time (when the car is nice and warm) when I decelerate (no brake) my steering wheel will bounce to the right. Like someone is pulling the wheel over.

I've attached a video that shows this. ANYONE have an idea what this is??

Today I pulled the front tires off and re-checked the sway bar links and then checked the brakes to make sure the calipers were sliding

We are stumped. Anyone run into this?? Is this a transmission issue? Power steering issue? Bearings?

Raise both wheels and check for any binding as you turn the steering wheel (engine off). Report back.
checked the brakes to make sure the calipers were sliding
What does this mean?

This happened before the parts were replaced, or after? Not a great description of the problem. I have seen similar in other cars but not this one.

That everything was moving as it should and not binding

Before. It doesn't happen all the time only after the car is warm. Yes, front end was raised, engine off and nothing was noticeably binding.
Mechanic said it may be the axle joints, but wouldn't that happen going forward and backward??
What other information would you like to know?

I am just spitballing here...
But if you are confident that the linkage in the front has been both replaced and is tight....and also aligned....
I would raise the car, take the front tires off, and have a very close look for damage on the tires. I would also look for any signs of feathering.
Maybe rotate them and see if the issue continues or feels like it moved to the back.
I would then speed balance my front tires. Has this car ever been in an accident? Have you hit a pothole and possibly slightly bent a rim....part of the frame?

If none of those clears the issue, I would probably take a closer look at the steering wheel linkage and also the steering wheel bushings.

I am leaning against transmission. It is too erratic and appears to be too widely spaced.
As far as the axle joints...what speed does it start? Maybe you are not going fast enough in reverse...or pulling the axle joints has a different effect than pushing them.

Resolved.

Right front brakes were the issue.

Thanks all for the input, all great suggestions
