2002 ES300 blend door part numbers????
Hello all-
I'm currently in the middle of changing out the evaporator on my 2002 ES. I've taken everything apart...scrubbed the insides of the box...put new foam...and cleaned up the blend doors.
I did the same for the blower box and it looks like mice or something started chewing away at the foam on the blend door for the recirculate/fresh air intake and the door does not seal the fresh air anymore...
I've been a mechanic for 8 years or so but I can't find anything online for an individual new blend door...did Toyota/Lexus ever sell individual doors for these units? Or was the only option to buy a brand new blower box or cooler unit assembly?
Just throwing a bone out there before I break down and find one at a junkyard or make it ugly with some foam from the hardware store.
Thanks in advance

Without looking at a parts diagram I'm betting the door is part of the HVAC assembly not available on its own.

Maybe this will help: https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-c...30G736016251#1
I find that if I copy and paste the diagram into a new word document and then expand it, it's easier to see the details.
Good luck.

Hello,
You can find Part Diagrams for your vehicle here. From what I could tell, Toyota doesn't sell blend doors or insulating foam for them separately, the only way to properly repair it that I know is to get a whole other unit. In your case though, you will probably be better off using some thin foam weather stripping, similar to the one linked below; that said, I am pretty sure you can find something similar locally for cheaper.
Hope this helps and best of luck!
