Default Ebay Headlights install with pics

I finally got around to replacing my worn out headlights.
I tried wet sanding it, clear coating it, and buffing it with minimum results. The inside plastic had some spider cracks, so I decided to just replace them. I am soo glad I did. It has been the best upgrade with the most value added to the car. There are videos on youtube on how to replace the headlights without removing the bumper all the way. I highly suggest you remove the entire bumper. It made it much easier to get to the side bolts, and less change of scratching the paint. There are only a few extra screws to remove from the bottom panels (these are the same bolts we remove during an oil change), and the bumper just comes off with ease.

I purchased these on Ebay for under $200
I also used this link to get $30 back on my order with ebay Motors: https://www.rakuten.com/r/TRINIM5?eeid=28187

I'd recommend also getting a clear protective film applied to help keep it clear longer.

Thanks.
Will look into the clear vinyl. Ebay? Should I look for any special type of vinyl?

You wanna to look for something that specifically states:
-UV protection
-Protection against rock/paint chips-Washable, best case by hand, worst case by a car-wash
I have seen sheets that are cut specifically to each car make/model, maybe that could be something you look into.
But be warned that removing the film later in time, may pull the layer beneath it which would be your clear coat. A better option to look into maybe ceramic coating.

As for the thickness of the sheet 8 mil should be sufficient, if you want you can go thicker but then you'll have trouble with heating and messing with it form to your headlight.

Wow that does look great! I've tried the lens restoration on mine but they only mildly improved. What eBay listing did you go with. There are so many aftermarket options.
