Hello, I don't know when or if the last time the transmission was serviced. No problems, but I want to start changing the trans fluid, bit by bit, every few months. I'm thinking about removing 2 quarts at a time with an electric extractor pump with a hose that goes down the trans fluid dipstick tube. Then perhaps add some LubeGuard. Any thoughts? Thanks for your time!

Do it properly, remove the pan and clean it and the magnets replace the filter. Then do 3-4 drain/fills. Lubegard is highly regarded I don't have much experience with it.

I always have good experience with Valvoline MaxLife synthetic ATF. I used it in all my Toyota and Lexus vehicles even in my BMW. Never had an issue and vehicles seemed to perform better with MaxLife.
