Tank inside left front quarter panel
I was putting some LED bulbs in the flashers of my 2000 ES300 and I noticed the tank inside the quarter panel which looked like it was connected to the air intake..... Tis confusion

It's an air chamber aka resonator its purpose is to quiet down intake noise. If you remove it the intake gets louder in fact the engine will sound pretty damn awesome (or annoying depending on perspective) not something Lexus wanted on a luxury car.
