Hello,
First of all, you will need a center console tray from a regular ES300/330, otherwise you will get a gaping hole in the console. Next you just need to take the center console out, unbolt the changer and assemble it all back together with a new tray. There is no guide that I could find on how to take the console out, with that, here is a Parts Catalogue that shows all the fasteners that hold it all together.
Hope this helps and best of luck!

Thank you for your reply. The more I look at it, I think I will leave sleeping dogs alone and leave it there. Too much work for too little gain. Anyway, I really appreciate your reply. Have a great day!

Hi Falcon6874. Welcome to the group! I have a 2006 ES330 with Factory (E7002) Nav GPS, DVD Display unit with non-Mark Levinson amplifier. I have the factory JBL amp. I also "had" the 6 disk CD changer in my console and it still worked. I really disliked not having a open storage console since the DVD in the dash also has a separate CD player. I saw a couple of posts about other folks replacing theirs and made that my next project and last year officially completed it. I had seen on these groups another user had done the same thing and contacted him to find out where he got his used non-CD changer storage console. He had found the console on Ebay and it was the actual insides alone. It was listed as Lexus storage box. You can also find Lexus consoles on Ebay. Once I started looking I knew a little more what I was looking for. I ended up buying the entire console for a Black 2005 eS330 from a local salvage yard. I have a Pearl White with tan leather interior. I think I paid $65 with taxes from JKQ North Texas for the entire console. It was in excellent condition and included even the arm rest, cup holders, ash trays, wooden parts, ash trays, etc. You can search on salvage websites like https://www.car-part.com/ and LKQ for ES300-330 front console. That all included the tons of stuff you can use to repair or replace on your car. The inside pocket interior (black felt) is the only thing visible no matter what color car you have. I have pictures I took along the way but never posted them. I can help you out if you have any questions. When you search on Lexus parts website you will see the difference for the front center console as storage or non-CD changer type

I just looked on car-parts and they still have the entire consoles for 75-125. Shipping is $$$? If you get the same color it would literally be a few bolts and screws to get your old console removed and some electrical connectors for ashtray lighter, You just unbolts the CD changer and changer bracket and electrical plugs and take it off your car. There are two Philips screws up by the shifter and two bolts inside the console under the arm rest by the CD changer. They are hidden under the felt strips.
